If you have any refrigeration
problem, no matter how old your cabinet, call us out to have a look: most
repairs can be carried out on the spot. If spare parts have to be ordered
we offer one of the fastest turnrounds in the business. If the cabinet
is beyond economical repair we shall not hesitate to say so - and recommend
the very best of modern cabinets to replace it, all with parts and labour
guaranteed for at least 12 months.
Regular preventative maintenance
is a sound investment for any equipment, and refrigeration equipment is
no exception. Blocked condensers, noisy fans, worn doorseals: these
are familiar problems which reduce the efficiency of your operation, and
if they are left for too long they can result in expensive repairs like
replacing a compressor - or even writing off a cabinet.
For a single payment we
give you two service visits within a 12 month period, on dates to be agreed
with you (for example just before and after your high season). On
each visit your refrigeration equipment will be cleaned and subjected to
a comprehensive servicing. Potential problems will be noticed early
and put right at once, leaving your cabinets running sweetly and efficiently.
If any parts need to be
replaced, these will be charged at our list price: other than that, there
is nothing further to pay.
If you should need to call
us out for a breakdown between service visits, it will be chargeable but
our standard callout charge will be waived (up to 30 miles from Tunbridge
Wells) or reduced.

We can then arrange a date for one of our engineers to visit you and agree
the list of equipment that you require to be included. Once we have
agreed a price and received your cheque, you are covered for 12 months.
CAR AIR CONDITIONING
If your car air conditioning
is not up to scratch, give us a call. We can book a time for you to visit
our workshop (or we can come to you if this is more convenient) test it
for leaks and if all is well recharge the system with refrigerant, getting
you on your way coolly and calmly again.
We are not garage mechanics,
but we can identify any parts you need to have repaired.

RECOVERY
In
these days of environmental consciousness it is important to know someone
who will competently undertake recovery of CFC refrigerants from old plant.
We are happy to do this and are, naturally, certificated for disposal under
the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989.
Please note that the implementation
of EC Regulation 2037/2000 in respect of CFCs contained in the insulation
foam of refrigeration cabinets has placed detailed legal controls on the
disposal of old/scrap units.
We shall naturally continue
to provide a service of removing and disposing of old/scrap units, upon
delivery of a replacement, but regretfully we shall have to pass on the
additional costs of transport to a licensed storage facility, storage there
for an unspecified time, and subsequent destruction.
As a rough guide this additional
cost will be from £100 upwards (+ VAT) depending on the size of the
redundant cabinet.
(Our facility to reclaim and
dispose of refrigerant gas remains unaffected.)
