RGB BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP Silverstone, 23 August 2003 Race 4  DUSTIN BARNES, CUP-WINNER  
Dustin started tenth out of thirty-four on the grid with a qualifying lap time of 1:06.66.  He improved on his qualifying time ("Seconds are easy to find: it's the tenths that are hard!") to a fastest race lap time of 1:06.08 (lap 5, 89.29 mph) and finished sixth in 9:03.68 but third in Class C - and fifth fastest of the day!  Alistair Massarella (a name not seen before on this website) was uncatchable in his newly-built Custom Autotech (Class A), achieving pole position with 01:02.80 and taking the chequered flag with a lead of nearly 2.5 seconds.  But the important thing is that Dustin came away with a cup (see above).
