THE FIRST TIME OUT
Dustin started twenty-fifth out of thirty-one on the grid with a qualifying lap time of 1:27.17.  During the race he made up six places in four laps, then put the thing into a spectacular spin but failed to collide with any of the opposition: he improved his qualifying time to a fastest race lap time of 1:22.59 (lap seven, 85.32 mph) and finished a commendable fourteenth in 14:23.59.  A close relative, No 77, who started nine places in front of him on the grid, was not classified (DNF - 3 laps).
